Baptis\u00e9e \u00ab Promotion Paul Biya \u00bb, cette vague de 500 \u00e9tudiants issus de cinq instituts priv\u00e9s d\u2019enseignement sup\u00e9rieur (IPES) a re\u00e7u des kits d\u2019amor\u00e7age et des \u00e9quipements de r\u00e9duction de la p\u00e9nibilit\u00e9, avant son d\u00e9part pour l\u2019incubateur de la fili\u00e8re banane plantain \u00e0 Kribi.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le 3 juin 2026, au sein de l\u2019amphith\u00e9\u00e2tre de l\u2019ENAM \u00e0 Yaound\u00e9, le ministre de l\u2019Agriculture et du D\u00e9veloppement rural, Gabriel Mba\u00efrobe, a pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de remise de kits d\u2019amor\u00e7age et de machines de r\u00e9duction de la p\u00e9nibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 500 \u00e9tudiants, suivie de leur d\u00e9part pour l\u2019incubateur de la fili\u00e8re banane plantain \u00e0 Kribi. Cette c\u00e9r\u00e9marie a \u00e9galement enregistr\u00e9 la pr\u00e9sence du patriarche Lucien Wantou Siantou, du ministre de la Jeunesse et de l\u2019\u00c9ducation civique, Mounouna Foutsou, du ministre de l\u2019\u00c9levage, des P\u00eaches et des Industries animales, le Dr Ta\u00efga, ainsi que des responsables des \u00e9tablissements concern\u00e9s et du pr\u00e9sident national de la fili\u00e8re banane plantain, Samuel Tony Obam Bikoue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-opt-id=1797633638  fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"461\" src=\"https:\/\/mlousnbyskx9.i.optimole.com\/w:1024\/h:461\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/globalfood.cm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IMG_20260603_170524.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-125\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mlousnbyskx9.i.optimole.com\/w:1024\/h:461\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/globalfood.cm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IMG_20260603_170524-scaled.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/mlousnbyskx9.i.optimole.com\/w:300\/h:135\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/globalfood.cm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IMG_20260603_170524-scaled.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mlousnbyskx9.i.optimole.com\/w:768\/h:346\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/globalfood.cm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IMG_20260603_170524-scaled.jpg 768w, https:\/\/mlousnbyskx9.i.optimole.com\/w:1536\/h:691\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/globalfood.cm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IMG_20260603_170524-scaled.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/mlousnbyskx9.i.optimole.com\/w:1920\/h:864\/q:mauto\/f:best\/https:\/\/globalfood.cm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/IMG_20260603_170524-scaled.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cette 5e cohorte, d\u00e9nomm\u00e9e \u00ab Promotion Paul Biya \u00bb \u2013 succ\u00e9dant \u00e0 la \u00ab Promotion Chantal Biya \u00bb issue de la Green Spring Digital University en f\u00e9vrier dernier \u2013 rassemble 500 jeunes r\u00e9partis comme suit : 150 \u00e9tudiants de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 priv\u00e9e Siantou (UPS), 150 de l\u2019Institut Universitaire des Sciences et Techniques de Yaound\u00e9 (IUSTY), 100 de l\u2019Institut Universitaire Djankou (INUD), 50 de l\u2019Institut Universitaire Sous-R\u00e9gional Bilingue Agenla Academy, et 50 de l\u2019Institut Sup\u00e9rieur Fang de Messamena \u00e0 Bertoua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Au-del\u00e0 de la simple remise de mat\u00e9riel, l\u2019enjeu est clair : apprendre aux jeunes \u00e0 gagner de l\u2019argent tout en poursuivant leur cursus acad\u00e9mique. Samuel Tony Obam Bikou\u00e9, pr\u00e9sident national de la fili\u00e8re banane-plantain du Cameroun et cit\u00e9 en exemple par le chef de l\u2019\u00c9tat, porte un mod\u00e8le novateur d\u2019entrepreneuriat \u00e9tudiant. Dans ce programme, l\u2019\u00e9tudiant n\u2019est pas actionnaire unique : il devient co-actionnaire avec son IPES et la fili\u00e8re. Ce dispositif renverse le paradigme traditionnel : plus besoin d\u2019attendre la fin des \u00e9tudes et la recherche d\u2019un emploi pour g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des revenus. Il vise aussi la viabilit\u00e9 financi\u00e8re des IPES : ces instituts priv\u00e9s d\u2019enseignement sup\u00e9rieur peuvent d\u00e9sormais r\u00e9sorber leurs tensions de tr\u00e9sorerie en rentabilisant leur foncier gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019agrobusiness moderne. Le mod\u00e8le transforme ainsi l\u2019\u00e9tudiant en acteur \u00e9conomique d\u00e8s l\u2019universit\u00e9, tout en renfor\u00e7ant la production nationale et l\u2019autonomie des \u00e9tablissements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sur le plan \u00e9conomique, le programme affiche des objectifs massifs sur cinq ans : incubation de 10 000 \u00e9tudiants dans la cha\u00eene de valeur de la banane plantain, cr\u00e9ation de 10 000 entreprises s\u00e9curis\u00e9es par des contrats d\u2019achat \u00e0 march\u00e9 garanti. Pour cette seule promotion de 500 \u00e9tudiants, le chiffre d\u2019affaires minimum projet\u00e9 est de 855 millions de FCFA, attendu dans les onze mois suivant la plantation. Les cultures seront men\u00e9es sur des champs communautaires g\u00e9r\u00e9s par les quatre IPES participants. La production issue de ces plantations est destin\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019exportation vers le Gabon.
