Un virage strat\u00e9gique qui allie souverainet\u00e9 nationale et leadership r\u00e9gional au sein de la CEEAC.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><br>\u200bQuatre ans apr\u00e8s son adh\u00e9sion en 2022 \u00e0 la Convention de Gen\u00e8ve sur la protection et l&rsquo;utilisation des cours d&rsquo;eau transfrontaliers, le Cameroun passe \u00e0 la phase active. L\u2019atelier ouvert au Hilton H\u00f4tel marque le d\u00e9but d\u2019une transition normative majeure : l&rsquo;alignement de la politique nationale de l&rsquo;eau et de la l\u00e9gislation en cours de r\u00e9vision sur les standards mondiaux de la Gestion Int\u00e9gr\u00e9e des Ressources en Eau (GIRE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>\u200bPour le gouvernement camerounais, il ne s&rsquo;agit pas d&rsquo;une simple formalit\u00e9 administrative, mais d&rsquo;un levier de d\u00e9veloppement. Comme l&rsquo;a soulign\u00e9 le Ministre Eloundou Essomba, ce processus repose sur une approche de \u00ab paix hydrique \u00bb, visant \u00e0 transformer les ressources partag\u00e9es en vecteurs de stabilit\u00e9 plut\u00f4t qu&rsquo;en sources de tensions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>\u200bUn catalyseur de financements et de cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9<\/strong><br>\u200bAu-del\u00e0 de l\u2019aspect juridique, l&rsquo;enjeu est r\u00e9solument financier et technique. En se dotant d&rsquo;un plan de mise en \u0153uvre robuste, le Cameroun renforce sa cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 internationale. Selon Madi Vondou, Directeur de la Gestion des Ressources en Eau au MINEE, ce cadre est essentiel pour :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>\u200b<strong>Mobiliser<\/strong> des financements internationaux aupr\u00e8s des bailleurs de fonds sensibles aux enjeux climatiques.<br>\u200b<strong>B\u00e9n\u00e9ficier<\/strong> d&rsquo;une assistance technique de haut niveau via le Secr\u00e9tariat de la Convention.<br><strong>\u200bRenforcer les capacit\u00e9s <\/strong>des experts nationaux et des cadres de la sous-r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>\u200bLe Cameroun, pivot de la solidarit\u00e9 hydrologique en zone CEEAC<\/strong><br>\u200bAvec ses cinq grands bassins hydrographiques (Lac Tchad, Niger, Congo, Sanaga et Fleuves c\u00f4tiers), le Cameroun occupe une position de \u00ab ch\u00e2teau d\u2019eau \u00bb qui lui impose une responsabilit\u00e9 naturelle envers ses voisins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>\u200bL\u2019atelier r\u00e9gional, coupl\u00e9 \u00e0 cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement national, t\u00e9moigne de la volont\u00e9 de la CEEAC de coordonner les efforts. La gestion du bassin du Congo (poumon \u00e9cologique mondial) ou du Lac Tchad (sanctuaire de r\u00e9silience) n\u00e9cessite une diplomatie de l&rsquo;eau active, port\u00e9e par des organismes de bassin tels que la CBLT, la CICOS ou l&rsquo;ABN.<br>\u200b<em>\u00ab <strong>Dans un contexte de changement climatique, la gestion partag\u00e9e de l&rsquo;eau constitue un bouclier pour la paix<\/strong> \u00bb<\/em>, a rappel\u00e9 le Ministre, soulignant que la solidarit\u00e9 r\u00e9gionale est d\u00e9sormais une n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 s\u00e9curitaire et \u00e9conomique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>\u200bLes prochaines \u00e9tapes<\/strong><br>\u200bLes travaux de Yaound\u00e9, qui s&rsquo;\u00e9tendent sur trois jours, devront jeter les bases d&rsquo;une feuille de route claire.
